GENDER DIVERSITY LEADERSHIP AS A DRIVER FOR SUSTAINABLE PERFORMANCE

How to match supply and demand for an essential parity issue

Since its founding in 2014, Leyders Associates has chosen to adopt a gender parity approach in compliance with the gender quotas for governance bodies and executive committees imposed by current regulations. By creating the department “Women at the Heart of Boards,” Leyders Associates aims to play a facilitator role between supply and demand.

Thus, our database of French and international corporate women, present across all sectors, has been continuously developed for over 10 years. It meets current requirements quickly and efficiently, presenting high-quality female profiles, often certified. To optimize everyone’s valuable time, the profiles are presented as CVs in an administrator format, accompanied by a video where shortlisted candidates can briefly express their background and motivation to join a board or executive committee.

For over 10 years, the consultants at Leyders Associates have been tasked with approaching, informing, and attracting the most qualified female profiles, both French and international, in their sectors through various communication actions. With highly diverse sector experiences and a wide range of skills, working in commercial, financial, digital, HR, communications, law, and CSR functions, they are highly motivated and available immediately to join governance bodies, where their backgrounds will add value to decision-making tables.
Lucille Desjonquères - Founder of Leyders Associates and President of the Gender Equality Summit

Lucille Desjonquères is recognized for the quality of the candidate shortlists she presents promptly. Her commitment has made her an expert in governance, to the point of being selected by a television channel to host debates on this topic.

A proponent of promoting leaders who support gender equality as a driver of performance, she regularly gives them a platform so their testimonials can inspire others.

This visibility and communication have the effect of bringing together a large number of qualified profiles, particularly women, who enrich the Leyders Associates database, already composed of several hundred profiles from all six continents.

In this context, she created a show called "En introspection," which aims to better showcase the leadership qualities of executives beyond their technical expertise.

An expert in the feminization of governance bodies and executive committees, Lucille Desjonquères is recognized in France for having made a valuable contribution to the successful implementation of the "Copé-Zimmermann" law.

Continuing this work, the "Women at the Heart of Boards" division at Leyders Associates has expanded with several consultants who are now actively seeking mandates across Europe with companies affected by the "Women on Boards" directive. This directive requires all European listed companies with a board of directors of over €50 million in revenue and at least 250 employees to integrate 40% women into their board by June 30, 2026.
